Is my offer letter real?

The fact that you searched for a way to check an offer letter means something in it made you pause, and you want an answer before you sign. Paste the letter below. The checker looks for fee demands, guaranteed visas, free email addresses and the details a real letter carries, then shows you where to verify it.

How does the offer letter checker work?

It reads your letter sentence by sentence. It flags the phrases that official scam warnings name: fees for the visa or processing, deposits and “refundable” payments, Western Union or crypto, guaranteed visas, tourist visas, Gmail addresses, WhatsApp contact, “within 24 hours” and “no interview”. Fee wording in a sentence that says the employer pays is not counted against the letter.

It also checks for the 11 details a genuine letter usually has. A missing detail is not proof of a scam, but it is something to ask for in writing. The score adds both up. It rates the text, not the employer.

What a real job offer letter usually contains

  • The employer's full legal name (Ltd, LLC, GmbH...)
  • A company registration or licence number
  • A street address for the employer
  • The job title
  • The salary, with an amount and a currency
  • Working hours
  • A start date
  • Contract length or probation
  • Who pays for flights and housing
  • The official permit or sponsor reference for that country
  • A named person who signs it

Have the letter but not sure about the person who sent it? Use the recruitment agency checker. Want to score the whole offer, including how it reached you and the interview? Frequently asked questions

How can I check if an offer letter is genuine or fake online?

Paste it into the checker to find the warning signs in the text and the details that are missing. Then check the employer on the official register of the job country, such as the UK sponsor register, the MOHRE offer check in the UAE or Qiwa in Saudi Arabia, and phone the company on the number from its own website. No website can confirm a letter on its own.

What does a genuine job offer letter contain?

Usually the employer's full legal name, registration number and street address, the job title, the salary with a currency, working hours, a start date, the contract length, who pays for flights and housing, the official permit or sponsor reference for that country, and a named person who signs it.

Is my letter text saved or sent anywhere?

No. The scan runs in your browser. If you ask for the emailed report, only the list of what was found (for example “fee wording” or “no registration number”) is sent, never the letter itself.

My letter passed. Does that mean the job is real?

No. Scam letters can copy every detail of a real one, including real company names and licence numbers. A low score means fewer warning signs in the text. Verify the employer and the offer on the official register before you pay, sign or resign.

How do I check a European or Dubai offer letter?

For Europe, find the company in the EU's business registers on the e-Justice portal and ask for the work permit issued by that country. For Dubai and the rest of the UAE, ask for the official MOHRE job offer with its serial number and barcode, and check it with MOHRE.
